First Snow, Election 2008, and Digital scales

Yesterday, the first snow fell here in Erie, PA. Its hard to believe, but yesterday it was snowing like crazy. Thankfully, it was not cold enough to stick. It actually went from snow to rain back to snow and then to rain all day.

I walked about a mile home yesterday and got thoroughly soaked through. If you are not prepared for the winter in Erie, you better hurry. Winter is knocking on the door and wants to be let in.

On other news, the presidental election is coming back rather quickly. It was thought that Pennsylvania would be a swing state - but it is almost completely clear that it is democratic. A few days ago it was reported that Palin would make a visit to Pennsylvania (some hope it would just be Tina Fey instead). Honestly, I don't think it will matter who visits, the politician or the actor - the Republicans are not going to win.

If any of the information from the polls is somewhat correct, then there is a better chance that it won't snow again in Erie this winter then the McCain will take office.
