WallE - Dollar Theater in Erie

Last night it snowed again. My wife and I went to a Halloween party and then we went and saw WallE at the dollar theater. WallE was a very good film. We both liked it very much. It was also very political. We have noticed that many companies are starting to use kid/cartoon movies to promote political issues.

Happy feet is another one of these movies that might be promoting some political issues including environmental issues and possibly an advocacy for gay rights or other non-conventional or different beliefs.

WallE is based on a completely destroyed Earth; not destroyed by aliens or a nuclear crisis or war, but by our own pollution and filth. The main company is called "Big N Large". It was a very good movie that addressed what current issues/problems could turn into in the near future.

If you didn't know, the Erie Dollar Theater (not sure what it is really called) is found on Peach street at right around Interstate Junction (where you can get on I-79). It is found at the Millcreek Mall. It costs a dollar before 6pm I believe. Then it costs something like $2 or $1.50.

You should definitely check it out. It is a really good idea to save money but still see a movie. And most of the films are fairly empty, so you can have the whole thing to yourself (good viewing experience).
