Rain, Snow, or Sun?

So, life in Erie is just about the same as always. I seem to always wonder about the bars in this town. I'm not quite sure why there are so many? The properties of supply and demand must still be in balance, otherwise there would be more bars that are shut down.

So, the only thing I can conclude is that lots of people drink in Erie! I think that that is too bad if an entire community has this terrible addiction. Drinking is definitely not a good thing.

People die in so many ways from drinking: liver disease, car accidents, domestic violence, etc. Besides death, quality of life decreases as drinking increases. Drinking is just as dangerous as smoking, albeit in different ways.

I have a terrible fear of losing control of my faculties. What if I couldn't control what I was doing? What if I hit my wife or lost control of my car? These ramifications are not negotiable on any level.
Don't drink and especially don't get drunk. Prohibition happened in the early part of this century for a reason. It was seen as an act that should not be committed on a societal level.

I encourage you to be careful if you drink. Do so wisely.

Besides, you'll lose weight if you stop. (But remember from other posts; its not how much you weigh, but how healthy you are. A body fat scale is a good investment.)
